1 Recording Session Questions

SingerAudition £150 

Can I record one of my songs?

Yes, we ask for a rough outlined demo either with or without music  

Do you arrange the music for me?

Yes but if you prefer us to write your song the following question applies  

Why will I be sent samples of music?

If you have chosen for SingerAudition to write and produce a song for you, we like to give you a variety of music to choose from that we have written

How many samples will I be sent?

As many as it takes for you to find one you want to work with

What happens after this?

Once you have chosen the type of music you want, SingerAudition write the melody and words to the track and then share this with you for learning

Can I have input on the words and melodies?

Absolutely, this is something we do quite often with our audition winners

Will I be credited with my input?

Yes, you are sited as one of the names for "words by" on the track - If there is no input from you then the full copyright remains with original writer 

When the track is ready for me to learn, what happens next?

We talk you through the melodies and words and show you how to do it, this initially will be completed by phone or skype conference calls or alternatively we can meet up to go though depending on where you are based, some of our clients are from Ireland and America so this means we can't actually meet until the day of recording

Now I've learned the track, what happens next?

It's best to keep practising until the day of recording, we especially ask you to do breathing exercises every day and make sure at least an hour before completing your vocals in the studio that your throat and voice are "warmed up" If you're not sure how to do this, we will show you

How long will I be in the studio?

1 hour recording your vocals 

When will my track be ready?

We normally take about 21 days to finalise your track and then will send it to you asking for feedback. If you require any changes, we are happy to do so but if we feel for the label approaches we've got it right, we will use the version we think is best suited for a particular label

When will the next auditions take place

Are they free?

Normally yes but if it's for charity then there will be a charge 

Is there an age limit?

No but if you are under 18 years of age we must have your parents concent 

Do I get feedback on the day 

Yes, usually about 15 minutes worth, in fact quite often artists come back for advice on how far they have come since their last audition which is very pleasing for us

How long do the sesions last

Up to one hour

4 Music Videos (Anywhere in the UK)

How much does it cost? 

£1000 - (£300 deposit and £500 on the day of filming and £200 upon completion) 

Do I get a story board?

Yes, we involve the client very much in this process as we need to understand what you are looking for, we also give advice on what we think is best from our experinces in this field

8. Complaints  

In the unlikely event that you are not happy with our services, we ask you to advise in writing via e-mail to info@singeraudition.com where we will respond within 7 working days with our decision. Any refunds that may be requested will be negotiated depending on level of service given and satisfaction you have received.
